Airstream Travel Trailers & Coaches
Lightweight. Streamlined. Fuel efficient.
There are many words that people use to describe the Airstream travel trailer. Timeless, classic, essential, iconic—these word express a sense of nostalgia mixed with pride; a wonder at how a product can look so retro and modern at the same time.
And then there are words like streamlined, lightweight, efficient and aerodynamic. Airstream founder Wally Byam wanted to create a travel trailer that could be pulled with a standard automobile; one that would move like "a stream of air." Today's Airstream has built upon that dream with modern technology, and is years ahead in engineering.
Unmatched durability, superior structural integrity, semi-monocoque construction—these terms speak for themselves. (Well, maybe except for semi-monocoque; a term which refers to a vehicle structure where the chassis is intergrated with the body.) Airstreams are built to last. It's not uncommon to see decades-old Airstreams that have been lovingly restored and are fully functional.
Really, there are nearly as many ways to describe an Airstream as there are people who love them. And if you find an Airstream to love, you may just find yourself creating some of your own.
