Sometimes you can’t get outside to cook. Whether it’s the weather, or just being to busy, it’s okay! You have a kitchenette for a reason! Nothing is better than crockpot meals, too. Set it and forget it! Here is a delicious meal that requires little clean up for a busy day!
Crockpot Chicken Taco Filling
Yield: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 jar salsa (whatever kind you like best!)
- 1 bag shredded cheddar
- Taco shells (hard or soft)
Equipment:
- Crockpot
Add the chicken to the crockpot and pour the salsa over top of it. On low, cook for about 6 hours. Shred chicken carefully with 2 forks. Put into a taco shell, top with cheese and there you go!
Tip: Add some of your other taco toppings! Avocado, sour cream and lettuce are good on this! Also, if you are able to get outside but just need a quick dinner to come home to, you can always throw the tortillas on a grill over the fire to heat them up and give them that amazing camp-fire flavor!
