Chocolate lovers come on over here! This chocolate mousse recipe is super easy and so good, you'll definitely be having seconds!
2 cups heavy whipping cream (pint container)
1.5 cups chocolate chips
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
Whip the cream until stiff peaks. Set aside.
Over a double boiler* melt the butter and add the sugar. Stir to dissolve. Add the chocolate chips and stir to melt. Remove and allow to cool at room temp for just 5 minutes.
Bring out the whipped cream and stir in ¼ of the whipped cream into the chocolate mix. Work quickly to mix it all together before it cools too much.
Once combined, allow cooling for 30 minutes in the cooler.
Now, Carefully fold the rest of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture. Do this slowly and carefully, ¼ of whipped cream at a time.
Once added, you’re done!
